We recently stayed here and it was delightful! Oscar was so welcoming upon arrival! He gave us the lay of the land and recommended places to eat. Our room was small but was laid out well with cozy furnishings. It was a chilly night and the fireplace in the lobby was nice to sit by. We had breakfast. The homemade granola with Greek yogurt and fresh fruit was delicious. We were impressed with how exceptionally clean the whole hotel is. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Free parking on premises.

I recently spent one night at The Hacienda. When I first walked into the gorgeous, historic pink building, I was floored to see how beautiful the lobby was. The staff was very welcoming and there was information about the hotel and city laid out beautifully around the lobby. My room was a single bed room which was perfect for me. It was clean and perfectly temperature controlled. The bathroom was also clean. What I love about The Hacienda was all the different events proposed at the hotel. I was there for their trivia night at their bar/restaurant, which was really fun! Shout out to Dylan Gamez, one of their staff members that was there to explain more interesting details about the hotel as well as took me on a tour around the building. She showed me the walk of fame outside and recommended all excellent spots around the city to explore during my night and morning in New Port Richey. The drinks were exceptionally delicious at the hotel and the food was also delicious. The service was great too! I woke up refreshed and relaxed, which inspired me to explore the area even more in the morning which I rarely do as usually I would just want to sleep in until checkout. Every angle of looking at the historic building was just breathtaking as I felt like I was transported back in time. I truly had an amazing experience there and I definitely plan on doing an extended vacation at The Hacienda.

The Hacienda is a beautiful historic hotel/restaurant restored to classical simple elegance. Within three steps of entering I could feel a calm, friendly milieu in the main lobby from the physical setting and from the friendly, professional staff. Dylan, the multi-skilled manager/director, immediately greets you with a warm, friendly smile as she insures that your visit to the Hacienda is fun, relaxing and restorative. I have had brunch and dinner in the Hacienda, the food was delicious and the staff was spot on. Whether you pop in for an hour or stay for a vacay, the Hacienda should be first on your list as a base for a visit to New Port Richey and Central West Florida.

We recently hosted a strategic planning meeting at The Hacienda Hotel and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The food quality, service, and overall attention to detail exceeded expectations and made our time on property both productive and enjoyable. I’d like to specifically recognize Danny, Connor, Ashley, Emily, and Mai Li for their outstanding service. Each of them was professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure our group was well taken care of throughout the meeting. Their teamwork and hospitality truly stood out. Thank you to the entire Hacienda team for creating such a positive and seamless experience. We would absolutely consider hosting future meetings here and highly recommend the property to others looking for great service and a well-run operation.

I have been fortunate to visit The Hacienda on multiple occasions and it never disappoints. From the ambiance of walking up past the original fountain to walking in the meticulously restored lobby, one feels as if time stands still. A perfect spot to renew and explore New Port Richey at your leisure…that is if you can break away from the charming atmosphere of this 1927 classic! Shout out to the knowledgeable and friendly staff! A hidden gem of a boutique hotel…do not miss it!

Check in was not what I expected, with the man at the front desk being rather loud, confrontational and aggressive. He informed me rather beligerently that there is NO room service and free coffee at the bar only during limited hours. Once I got got checked in I found my double queen room to be huge and spotlessly clean. However the single queen room I got a peek at is on the small side. My room was nicely and comfortably decorated although not especially high end furnishings. I was disappointed to see that there was no coffee pot in the room. Also no refrigerator and no safe. There was a closet. The blackout curtains worked just fine. The bed was very comfortable and a little on the firm side. But they weirdly put a king sized sheet on the top so one side was literally dragging on the floor once you got in. I don't like the way they used this huge sheet to wrap the blanket making it a hot mess halfway through the night. I know this is a popular thing to do at hotels but it's not at all easy to keep it straight even if it wasn't the wrong size. The wall mounted ac/heating unit made an awful grinding noise when running. I got used to it after awhile. The bathroom was beautifully remodeled but the shower was so small it was nearly impossible to shave my legs in there and no place to put your shampoo etc. The sink was pedistal style so no counter space, just a small shelf nearby. The toilet was bizarrely short and square. Perfect if you are a toddler but not so much if you are a full grown adult. The hotel itself is small but has a beautiful lobby and several balconies with rocking chairs. You can walk directly to the park from the hotel and walk around the pond. Also you can walk easily to many restaurants and bars in the downtown area. However if you miss coffee time at the hotel, I wouldn't recommend the coffee shop directly across the street from the hotel. Some people might be interested to hear that some of the rooms are reportedly haunted with 334 being one of most haunted. My room was thankfully quiet and ghost free. Overall, I really liked this hotel despite the problems listed. A coffee pot in the room and a more welcoming check in would have made me like it a lot more though.
